Research activities
The activities of the Eco-VRD focus on the recovery and recycling of waste of various kinds for the development of new mineral materials which are mainly of interest to the construction, building and public works sector (concrete, glasses and ceramics).
Research Topics:
Research activities of the Eco-VRD revolve around the following topics:
- Valorization and recycling of natural mineral additions;
- Recycling of mineral wastes (demolition concretes, ceramics, glasses);
- Recycling of organic material waste (plastics, wood, etc.);
- Recycling of waste metal materials;
- Eco-materials for construction
The mission of Eco-VRD:
The Eco-VRD team also provides training and supervision for doctoral students enrolled in the themes mentioned above. Our team also plans to establish framework and specific agreements between the Research Unit (UR-MPE) and other national and international laboratories.
